Darlene is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, (Membership #807548) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She has been practicing Social Work for over twenty years and holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor as well as a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo.
Darlene has experience working with adults, children, couples, families and groups in various areas including but not limited to anxiety and worry, depression, self-esteem, stress, grief, relationship problems, parenting and other life stressors.

Treatment Approach
As a registered Social Worker, I believe that counselling is a collaborative approach between you and your counsellor. Through the telling of your story and in addressing its impacts on your life, you will be empowered to change and grow.
The goal is to provide an open, safe, supportive and confidential environment to address the issues that are concerning you.
